2008 marks the 3rd Annual Rob Bosinger Memorial Weekend; the 10th Annual Miele Head to Head Race Series at Sunshine Village. It has become the celebration of Rob Bosinger's life and his passion for ski racing, and life. Over 380 ski racers will compete over the three days of Head to Head racing. The series has become known for it"s prizing thanks to the generosity of the industry manufacturers, retailers, and other industry suppliers.
Last year, we held the second Annual Gentle Giant Slalom Team race and fundraiser for The Canadian SADS Foundation, and a Ski Training Scholarship in Rob Bosinger's name for a K2 female and male athlete ($2500 per). Last year's event raised close $50,000 through the GGS, the Silent Auction and Victory Party at Hoodoos Lounge Banff.
We are asking that you consider this request for prizing and donation for the Silent auctions at the GGS and a Friday night event (more info on the event coming soon!). We award prizing 3 deep in in in each category of the BOZO Cup Pro-Am and the Kinder Cup, in each race category. Each year, we have strived to award a pair of skis to the Þrst place Þnish in each race category (total of 10). Team prizing is also needed for the GGS.
