The Rob Bosinger Memorial Weekend raises money for two important causes: annual scholarships for two talented youth ski racers and donations to The Canadian Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes (SADS) Foundation.
About our Sads connection
Rob Bosinger, a healthy and fit ski racer, died suddenly in his sleep on May 20, 2005, of cardiac arrhythmia at the age of 38, leaving behind a wife and 7-month-old son.
Raising over $60,000 since inception, The Rob Bosinger Memorial Weekend gives $2,500 annually to The Canadian SADS Foundation, the only patient advocacy group in Canada dedicated to supporting families affected by inherited cardiac rhythm disorders. The Canadian SADS Foundation is committed to raising awareness about the warning signs for these potentially devastating disorders.
